I love purpose-filled events! Don’t you?

Roundup for Autism and Binzario Couture Present Its First Fashion Show and Luncheon “A Walk in Paris”

This event is sure to deliver beautiful designs and more…

In the summer of 2014, I had the pleasure of meeting the Binzario team (Andre Yabin and Luis Nazario) and witnessing first-hand their impeccable craftsmanship. While their designs moved my fairy tale wedding dreams, it wasn’t the ‘it factor’ that impressed me the most. You see, there’s a common thread in my run-in’s with Binzario and its their philanthropic hearts. I’ve witnessed first-hand, Binzario Couture’s contribution to important causes during my coverage of the domestic violence fashion event with Jennifer Hobson, and now their contribution to the Autism community. When I was invited by Andre Yabin, one half of Binzario, to “A Walk in Paris,” a prelude to Roundup for Autism, a two-day fall event, I couldn’t resist. I knew it would be an event full of fashion on purpose. What girl doesn’t want to cover a fashion event that gives a voice to those who often go unrecognized or left without a voice? Without hesitation, I pounced on the opportunity.

The very nature of this event took me back to my time in high school where I served in our Students Assisting Students program. I enjoyed my extracurricular activities in high school, but my time with SAS was my most fulfilling. Through my work with the SAS program, I was able to view the world through their lenses. I recognized the beauty and the ugliness the world some times offered to my students. I’m elated to come full-circle and give The Bobby Norris Roundup for Autism organization, in conjunction with my friends at Binzario, a voice to the voiceless. I love that all proceeds from the event will benefit The Autism Treatment Centers of Texas.

The “A Walk in Paris” fashion event will take place from 12-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 23 at The Fairmont Hotel Dallas, and will feature one-of-a-kind gala gowns by the Binzario Couture team. The yumminess coming your way is definitely not something you want to miss!

Per the event details, here’s what you can expect:

During the Vintage, French-inspired fashion show, produced by Jeannette Chivvis with Chivvis Style, guests can expect to swoon over the locally designed, custom gowns by Binzario Couture. Attendees also have the opportunity to win a one-of-a-kind Binzario Couture gala gown of their own by entering the raffle.

I can't decide, both are so beautiful!

In addition to the gorgeous gowns, the models will be styled in jewelry by Couture Rocks Fine Jewelry and will get to enjoy hearing from special guest WFAA 8, Good Morning Texas’ Host, Carrie McClure.

The fashion show and luncheon “A Walk in Paris” is a prelude to Roundup for Autism’s grand two-day fall event, the Pegasus parade and rodeo in the Fort Worth Stockyards, followed the next day by a black-tie gala, the Pegasus Ball, at the Fairmont Hotel Dallas. The fall event is slated for Friday and Saturday, September 18 and 19. A pair of tickets to the Pegasus Ball is also being raffled off at the April 23 “A Walk in Paris” fashion luncheon.

Tickets are available for purchase or on the Roundup for Autism Facebook page. Seating is limited.
